Fishing-at-ElkheadMoffat County supports healthy populations of trout (browns, rainbows, cutthroats), Northern Pike and small-mouth bass. Equally important to the high-density fish population is the low density of human populations. Fishing in Moffat is a great way to enjoy solitude and under-fished waters.

You’ll find the most up to date information on fishing the lakes and rivers of Colorado in the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Fishing regulations brochure or you can visit the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Fishing Atlas to determine the best fishing spot for you!
