Whittle The Wood Rendevouz

Whittle the Wood Rendezvous is Craig, Colorado's premier event, featuring head-to-head competition between a dozen experienced wood carvers.  Watch as carvers begin with a tree trunk and create a masterpiece in four short days.  Don't miss Friday's live music and the festival's conclusion on Saturday, as we welcome Leftover Salmon as our headliner band for a great concert.  We also celebrate Saturday with the Wake the Whittler 5K, arts and crafts vendors, carver awards, plenty of delicious food and a car show downtown.  Don't miss the fun!

The 2019 Whittle the Wood celebration has another strong entertainment line-up which will once again include live music Friday night. Music will begin Friday at 4:30 PM with a local favorite Black Mountain Riot.  At 6:30 PM the Movers and Shakers will bring energy, rock & roll, soul and rythum and blues to the park!  During that time arts, crafts and food vendors will have their doors opens as will the beer garden.
